Mein Sohn heißt Georg Wartlsteiner geb. am 21. August 2011 und seine Leidenschaft ist das Rennradfahren
Ich war selbst von 1994 bis 1999 Straßenrennradfahrer und zur damaligen Zeit unter den zehn Besten in Österreich. In dieser Zeit habe ich sehr viel für mein weiteres Leben gelernt. Vor allem das Durchhaltevermögen und auch die Willenskraft Projekte umzusetzen, schwierige Situationen zu meistern, auf Ziele hinzuarbeiten und alles daranzusetzen diese auch zu erreichen, eine ideale Voraussetzung also um ein Unternehmen zu führen.
Aus diesem Grund unterstütze ich auch die Leidenschaft meines Sohnes, Strassenradrennen zu bestreiten.
Georg hat im Jahr 2021 seine ersten Strassenrennen bestritten, damals noch ohne Lizenz, da er für eine solche noch zu zu jung war. Nichtsdestotrotz hat er in diesem Jahr alle 4 Tiroler Meistertitel gewonnen.
Im Alter von 9 Jahren in der Kategorie U13. Im Jahr 2022 hat er dann alle Tiroler Meistertitel (Strasse, Berg, Einzelzeitfahren und Kriterium) gewonnen. Des weiteren wurde er Österreichischer Meister auf der Strasse.
Bei der Internationalen Alpe Adria Tour, einem mehrtägigen Etappenrennen wurde er in der Gesamtwertung Dritter. Man sollte vielleicht dazusagen dass er bei diesen Erfolgen erst 10 Jahre alt war, und das in der Kategorie U13!
Durchhaltevermögen, die Willenskraft Projekte umzusetzen und schwierige Situationen zu meistern, sind die Lehren, die einem der Spitzensport aufzeigt, die sich dann auch nahtlos auf das Leben umsetzen lassen.
Omnium Nationals Loosdorf 🇦🇹🥈
On Sunday, the Omnium Nationals took place in Loosdorf, Lower Austria.
The three disciplines were:

• Criterium 🥈

Omnium Nationals Loosdorf 🇦🇹🥈
On Sunday, the Omnium Nationals took place in Loosdorf, Lower Austria.
The three disciplines were:
• 1.4 km TT 🥉
• Technical competition 🥉
• Criterium 🥈
With these results I finished with the same amount of points as @fred.11s, but thanks to his better result in the crit he claimed the national title 🫡🫡

At the Mountain TT on Saturday I managed a strong ride and took the win with a solid gap.
On Sunday at the road race in Wels I didn’t have the best legs, but I managed to take a really tight sprint against @felix_krausbua.

Alpe Adria Tour 2025 🟡🏆
The 2025 Alpe Adria Tour was a really special race. With two iTTs, a mountain stage and a road race, it had a bit of everything.
On day 1 I finished 2nd, but on day 2 my legs were much better and I could take the yellow jersey. On the final day I was able to control the road race and bring yellow safely home.
Every stage was a hard fight against @gerry.horn_cycling – huge congrats to him and also to everybody else. 🫡

Alpe Adria Tour 2025 🟡🏆

At the first race in the Villacher Alpenarena, I tried to break away from the peloton but couldn’t manage to get away. In the end, I finished second in the sprint for the victory.

On Sunday, we raced the same course again — this time with a better result. I was able to push the pace from the start and managed to get away solo. In the end, I won that way.

18° TROFEO „SUPERMARKET DELLA CALZATURA“🏆🇮🇹🍝
Very happy to secure the win at this weekend‘s race in Dro, Italy.
After the second lap i got into a 2-men break together with @nicolotrainotti . We worked together really well and in the end we fought for the victory.🤝
This one means a lot to me because its my first ever victory in Italy and also in a starting field of 116 people⚡️

Very happy to secure the win at this weekend‘s race in Dro, Italy.
